Left wing ouraged by Obama’s golf round on Memorial Day

And when I say outraged I mean totally silent on the matter.  From the AP,

President Barack Obama hit the golf course after marking his first Memorial Day as commander in chief.  The president’s motorcade took him to Fort Belvoir in Virginia

I was thinking how the Libtards would have gone ballistic if George Bush were disrespectful enough, as Commander in Chief, to actually play a round of golf on this particular holiday when we commemorate those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  Then I remembered that they were outraged when Bush decided it was unseemly to be seen on the golf course during wartime, and quit playing the game, saying,

“I don’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf,” he said. “I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.”

Will we see the same faux outrage from them in tomorrow’s headlines?  Of course not.  Barry will never be held to the same standard because, well…he’s not George Bush.  Remember this?

Barry, as usual, will get a pass from the nation’s stenographers as he reveals his true feelings towards the men and women of our military who put their lives on the line to guarantee our freedom.  Once again his actions speak much louder than his words.  Disgraceful.

Update:  Jack Dunphy over at Patterico’s has an interesting piece, including this quote from actor Robert Davi,

“Nickelodeon,” he said, “had a celebrity-packed Earth Day celebration on television last month. Why doesn’t Nickelodeon have a celebrity-packed Memorial Day celebration?”

Indeed.  Also, did you fly the flag today?  Hot Air.
