You don’t tug on Superman’s cape…
Well this is getting more interesting by the minute. Remember when I wrote of Barry’s scare tactics on “enhanced interrogation techniques”? Here. As foretold by the “Law of Unintended Consequences” once again San Fran Nan is in the spotlight. The funny thing is, when Barry first released the legal memos, it was to embarrass the Bush administration,  and to intimidate the lawyers and the CIA. After a verbal lashing, and a challenge to release more memos fro Dick Cheney, which I would love to see come to fruition, it all started to go pear-shaped. Especially for Nancy, who has now been shown to be a liar. Not that a politician lying is headline news, but the attendant hypocrisy is an added bonus because of the verbal gymnastics required to justify such action by the apologists in the MSM. Good times. As reported in The Washington Post,

However,
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was briefed on the use of “enhanced interrogation techniques†on terrorist suspect Abu Zubaydah in September 2002, according to a report prepared by the Director of National Intelligence’s office and obtained by ABC News.
The report, submitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee and other Capitol Hill officials Wednesday, appears to contradict Pelosi’s statement last month that she was never told about the use of waterboarding or other special interrogation tactics.
Interestingly. Barry is now finding out, as did his predecessor, what happens when you poke at a sleeping tiger, in this case the Company. You just know that this is a shot across the bow from the spooks. They have all the secrets. I expect San Fran Nan has expressed her displeasure to Barry, and both will now back away from the story in the hope that it dies. If only we had a media that cared to investigate. Ed over at Hot Air has more on this.
By the way is it just me, but whenever I hear the name Abu Zubaydah, it sounds like something that Fred Flintstone might holler at Barney Rubble?

The meeting is described as a “Briefing on EITs including use of EITs on Abu Zubaydah, background on authorities, and a description of particular EITs that had been employed.â€

Anyway, they wanted “truth†and now they’ve got it. And they may yet get more: Pete Hoekstra says he’s seen documents detailing just what it was, precisely, that intel committee members were told and not only does he want the documents released, he may ask Conyers to call a hearing and put Madam Speaker, among others, on the stand. Full speed ahead.
May you live in interesting times, indeed! Sadly, Conyers is a bloviator and will likely wimp out. Just as he has done in respect to the ACORN investigation he called for,via Michelle Malkin.
