Just when you think you’re out, they drag you back in…
No pun intended, however the whole Carrie Prejean kerfuffle just got uglier, if that is possible. I was fence sitting in regards to writing more on this topic, especially after my usual insightful and provocative screed here, but a despicable creature that goes by the name of Michael Musto changed my mind. That, and the latest turn of events precipitated by that cowardly numpty Perez Hilton, of which, more in a moment.
Firstly, this Musto character, who apparently opines for The Village Voice, was on the Olbermann show just tearing Ms California to shreds in the most vile and spiteful manner possible. The Olberdunce was clucking his approval at every limp-wristed insult, I know KO is to rational thought as Michael Jackson is to baby-sitting, but the vitriol was beyond belief. The strange thing was that they seem to have deluded themselves into thinking that Ms Prejean had somehow advanced their cause. They actually felt that the attention this sorry debacle has gained was persuading people that gay marriage was a good idea after all. People like Hilton and Musto and their ilk think that Americans dislike them because they are gay. Guess what? We dislike you because you are despicable low lifes with no sense of decency, who just happen to be gay. Your nastiness far outweighs your sexual proclivities. Watch the exchange,

There is a second part to the story. A woman by the name of Gloria Feldt, who claims to be a feminist, was on the O’Reilly show which was hosted by Laura Ingraham.  Feldt lit into Ms Prejean, even mocking her breast implants by suggesting a heart transplant would have been better. At the beginning of the exchange she snidely tries to put down Laura, smiling broadly all the while, and when called to task by her host, tried to furiously back pedal, and bleated that she was not being allowed to answer the question. Needless to say, she was roundly and soundly beaten down by Ms Ingraham. Why is it that feminazis never stand up for their sisters? Go to Hot Air to watch that wingding, then come right back because we are not done yet.
Then there is the final part. The main protagonist in this matter is that dreadfully talentless hack Perez Hilton. As you will recall it derided Ms Prejean for having the same opinion as the majority of Americans on gay marriage, including our current President, then regretted calling her a bitch, as it would have preferred to call her a c**t. And Ms Prejean is the one who is intolerant and a bigot. It seems that Hilton is now trying to censor a commercial that featured his disgusting diatribe, even though it satisfies the “fair use” exemption of copyright law. Naturally, Youtube immediately caved to its demands. However, Patterico has risen to the challenge, and is ready to go to court if Hilton should threaten him. Which, of course, it won’t. One thing we learn early in life is that all bullies are cowards.
Update: As I published, Hot Air came up with Quote of the Day, which is very apropos, so I will give them the last word.
