Barry steps on a rake
From Telegraph.co.uk we have an interesting article on how much Obama hates this great country of ours. Not content with the damage caused by his recent “Blame America, and when I say America, I mean George Bush” tour, he is now undermining national security by publishing interrogation techniques, threatening lawyers who “approved” them, and attempting to restrain the CIA with veiled hints at prosecution. As has become depressingly normal of late, it has taken a foreign reporter to bring this to the fore. Barry has, so far,
cynically subordinated the national interest to his partisan desire to embarrass the Republicans. Then he had to rush to Langley, Virginia to try to reassure a demoralised CIA
where he told them,
“Don’t be discouraged by what’s happened the last few weeks,” he told intelligence officers. Is he kidding? Thanks to him, al-Qaeda knows the private interrogation techniques available to the US
I find the very notion of, for example, waterboarding as torture to beyond ridiculous. It is a technique so heinous that many journalists, including Christopher Hitchins, and indeed many that oppose it, have voluntarily subjected themselves to it to demonstrate its horror. And to write about it afterwards, as opposed to the poor bastards at the World Trade Center who had to decide between leaping to their death, or being fried alive. Many of my good friends among them, I might add.Â
Unfortunately for Obambi he may have picked a fight with the wrong person, as Dick Cheney has not only stated that waterboarding prevented an attack planned for Los Angeles, but has now called Barry’s bluff by demanding the release of certain memos in its favor. Hot Air has more on that development.
 As the Telegraph said,
President Pantywaist Obama should have thought twice before sitting down to play poker with Dick Cheney
and the final comforting word,
President Pantywaist’s recent world tour, cosying up to all the bad guys, excited the ambitions of America’s enemies. Here, they realised, is a sucker they can really take to the cleaners
