Don’t Tea-z me bro

In the New World Order there are no more terrorist acts, just “man caused disasters.”  Ask Secretary of DHS Jimmy Napolitano.  Similarly, there are no more terrorists, except of course, for the domestic ones.  I know you are now thinking maybe of the crazies over at PETA, or the sickos who bomb abortion clinics, but you would be wrong.  In a report released this week, the DHS has warned of the “dangers” presented by right wing extremists, such as those who oppose illegal immigration. That’s right, opposing an illegal act now makes you a radical.  This is classic projection, and the kind of partisan warfare prescribed by Alinsky.

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions

With the willing support of the MSM, they will attempt to portray anyone who attends a “tea party” protest as a radical.  The ridiculous part of this is that the outrage over the profligate spending crosses party lines.  However, as always, the more they can create a Repub vs Democrat divide, the easier it becomes for them to divert attention from the real problem.  Massive Government.  I have said this before and I say again, we as a nation should be mad at government.  We should no longer allow them to frame it as Red versus Blue.  The real problem is the sense of entitlement, the disconnect from real people and the out of control self-interest of those in power.  This what the tea parties are about.

Michelle Malkin’s column is a must read and includes this pearl of wisdom, and chilling insight in how dissent will be treated in the future.

If you can redefine dissenting opinion as “hate,” you can brand your political opponents as “extremists” – and you can marginalize electoral threats. “Antigovernment?” “Pro-enforcement?” “Disgruntled?” Feeling taxed enough already and “recruiting” and “radicalizing” your friends and neighbors through “chatter on the Internet?”

Rush Limbaugh also had this to say,

It’s this Department of Homeland Security report, it’s nine pages, I’ve got the PDF here, and, by the way, this speech of Obama’s and the DHS report yesterday are timed for one reason and that’s the tea parties tomorrow. This speech, the primary purpose of this speech is to take any glow off the tea parties. The media is going to report on this speech later this afternoon and tell you about how great the economy is doing, how on top of it Obama is, how it’s going to be a little while before it rebounds but it’s coming back, and in having used that as the setup, they’ll then go to videotape of the tea parties where they’ll try to mock what’s going on with these people, just agitators with no real reason behind what they’re doing. So this speech is designed to totally blunt the tea parties, which are grassroots affairs that will happen all over America tomorrow.

There was a time, not so long ago that dissent was patriotic, or so the Left proclaimed.   Blind dissent in and of  itself is not patriotic in the same way that automatically saying the opposite of someone’s opinion is not arguing.  However in this instance, expressing disgust and dissent in the face of massive budget deficits and spending programs, that are in no way the fault of George Bush, might be the best thing you can do for your country at this time.
