Oxymoronic Gubmint, without the oxy part…

Ever notice how when Government wants to pass a bill, they always name it in a fashion that is in complete opposition to what it proposes? I have. Call it “Blue Skies” and it allows pollution, for example. The “Employee Free Choice Act” is another example of the Orwellian way in which they try to force through their agenda.

While you were agonizing over the pitifully small AIG bonuses, in the overall scale of things, like the good little citizen that you are, old Barry has been busy. We now have The GIVE Act, already passed in the House, and the Serve Act, currently being discussed in the Senate. Both of these will make volunteering mandatory. What’s that you say? It doesn’t make sense. Obambi is planning to create little armies of slackers whose job it will be to run around volunteering their advice to you. You know, stuff like…turn that light off and save energy for the greater good. It’s not like they didn’t get enough beatings in school, already.
