And another one gone, and another one gone…another one bites the dust

This is starting to feel like the old TV series “The Shield” in the sense that you cannot wait for the next episode. In the continuing saga of the slow and painful (haha) death of ACORN, every new tape reveals how endemic the rot is to that organization. Had it been just one isolated incident, it may have been easier to shrug off. But when you get up to four, and counting, it starts to look like they have a culture of subverting the law in order to game the system. The latest episode, featured over at Big Government, takes place in San Bernardino, CA.

In it, we are privileged to meet employee Tresa Kaelke, who is happy to advise the young entrepreneurs, and who claism to have run her own brothel some years back.  She also states she did not declare “one dime” to the IRS, and that she is a big fan of Heidi Fleiss.  She also suggests that by allowing johns to mistreat or beat the underage hookers, it is possible to get more money.  Charming. 

But that’s not the best/worst part.  She brags that she killed her husband, claiming self-defense.  In the next breath, however, she claims to have run all over town , including a local shelter, so that everyone would be aware that she was the victim of spousal abuse.  Then she admits she shot him.  It seems to this observer, that the steps she took proir to the killing were designed to provide her with a circumstantial alibi.  That would make her self-defense a pre-meditated murder.  Looks like she’s got some ’splaining to do.

Let’s see Bertha Lewis squirm out of this one.  And remember, this was labelled as Part 1. there will be more to follow.

    [...] The latest edition of ACORN TV just hit the airwaves, with yet another promised for 9:00pm (Eastern) this evening.  The latest, available over at, where else, Big Government, is a cosy girl to girl chat with Tresa (ACORN employee) advising Hannah on the ins and outs, (Oh yes I did!) of running a brothel with underage El Salvadoran hookers.  The high/low point for me is when, and I am paraphrasing here, Hannah suggests that the girls would be allowed to leave when they are older “say when they are eighteen, six years down the line…”  The helpful former madam does not even bat an eyelid at the notion of abusing twelve year old girls.  Charming.  However, she does point out the sound business practice of charging the johns more if they want to beat, as well as rape, the children.  Watch the six minute tape here.  You can catch up on the rest of the story here.
