Officer Cardillo was unavailable for comment*
That ancient fat tub of lard and serial race-baiter Charlie Rangel, unencumbered as he is by ethical restraint, continues to thumb his nose at the world as he continues to disclose hitherto unknown vast sums of wealth. All without let or hindrance from Pelosi or any meaningful ethics investigation, as this CBS 2 reports shows,
Congressman Rangel has been arrogant in refusing to discuss how, as the man who writes this country’s tax laws, he failed to report over $1 million in outside income and $3 million in business transactions as required by the House, lapses under investigation by the House Ethics Committee.
He typifies the slime that has been in Congress for way too long which gives them a sense of entitlement and arrogance that is breathtaking in the extreme. They believe they are above the law simply because, having flouted it for so long, they effectively are. That is our collective fault for continuing to vote for pustules like him. In typical “circle the wagon” mode, he has also taken the time to donate to those who are supposed to investigate him on the ethics committee,
CBS 2 HD has discovered that since ethics probes began last year the 79-year-old congressman has given campaign donations to 119 members of Congress, including three of the five Democrats on the House Ethics Committee who are charged with investigating him.

“I recognize that all of you have an obligation to ask questions knowing that there’s none of you smart enough to frame it in such a way that I’m going to respond,” Rangel said.
Absolutely disgraceful. Why won’t San Fran Nan “drain the swamp” and relieve him of his chairmanship of The Ways and Means Committee? Because a chairman under investigation is weakened and therefore more easily controlled by Madam Speaker. In fact, the evidence that at 79 years old he might be going a little senile is becoming more apparent. Witness his latest, what else, race-baiting remarks he made while discussing health care and Barry, from the NYPost,
Rep. Charles Rangel said Tuesday that “bias” and “prejudice” toward Obama are fueling opposition to health-care reform.
And this,
Speaking at a health-care forum in Washington Heights, Rangel said that when critics complain that Obama is “trying to interfere” with their lives by pushing for health-care reform, “then you know there’s just a misunderstanding, a bias, a prejudice, an emotional feeling.”
Charlie is certainly no stranger to racist diatribes, in fact he was a pioneer in that field, which brings me to the reason for the title of this post. Much as today’s younger generation knew little of Ted Kennedy and Chappaquiddick, many, many more are unaware of Rangel’s involvement in the death of NYC police officer Cardillo back in 1972. I wrote all about it here.* Both he and Louis Farrakhan were instrumental in covering up, and preventing investigation of, the death of Officer Cardillo who was murdered in a Harlem mosque by black extremists. From the Grump Club,
He turned and saw Louis Farrakhan and Charlie Rangel leading a large group of Muslims down the basement stairs. Farrakhan is shouting that all the cops must leave the temple. Knapp tells Haugh to move to the street. Now Deputy Commissioner Ben Ward arrives, with Farrakhan at his side, he shouts to the superior officers that the cops immediately leave the mosque. The crime scene was abandoned. Farrakhan and Rangel are shouting to the superior officers “if you stay, there is nothing we can do to protect you. You’ll be overrun. There’ll be rioting. People may be killed.” Farrakhan and Rangel ‘promise’ that the prisoners would come to the 24 pct. At five o’clock to be questioned. Do you think anyone showed up? Phil Cardillo died six days later. Mayor John Lindsay and Commissioner Pat Murphy did NOT attend the funeral.
Please get the word out. This man has blood on his hands and few are aware of it. Here’s what I would like you to do. Every time Rangel is mentioned on a blog, go to the comment section and say “Officer Cardillo is unavailable for comment” and link to the above article. He is old, and will likely be dead soon, but I would like to make his remaining years as uncomfortable as possible. Please help.
