Are you paying attention Connecticut voters?
Chris Dodd (Scumbag-Conn) has been featured many many times on these hallowed pages. Along with his wife, he has used his position in the Senate to feather his nest for far too long. Like his father before him, he learned to put his personal interests ahead of the people he was elected to represent. Sadly, the voters in Connecticut have continued to re-elect this parasite, although the tide seems to be turning. I do what I can. For a recap of his many nefarious deeds, click this link, and all will be revealed. Lest you think I have it in for the man, he is but one on a long list of reprobates, which includes Frank, Rangel, Murtha, Pelosi and Kennedy (Drunkard-Mass) to name a few, who have used Congress as their personal ATM machines. Time to kick them all out. From The Washington Post,
Despite their denials, influential Democratic  Sens. Kent Conrad and  Chris Dodd were told from the start they were getting VIP mortgage discounts from one of the nation’s largest lenders, the official who handled their loans has told Congress in secret testimony.
Apparently, not so secret testimony.
“And do you know if during the course of your communications” with the senator or his wife “that you ever had an opportunity to share with them if they were getting special VIP treatment?” “Yes, yes,” Feinberg replied. Bryan DeAngelis, Dodd’s spokesman, said Feinberg has repeatedly made allegations of special treatment that were not true.
Oh, OK then…we’ll let the matter drop, shall we?
Countrywide VIPs, Feinberg told the committees, received discounts on rates, fees and points. Dodd received a break when Countrywide counted both his Connecticut and Washington homes as primary owner-occupied residences – a fiction, according to Feinberg.
Oh dear. On most loan applications I have ever seen, claiming a home as principle residence when it is not, is a felony and, as such, is investigated by the FBI.Â
“He was allowed to do both of those as owner-occupied, which is not allowed. You can only have one owner-occupied property. You can’t live in two properties at the same time,” he said.
Read the whole thing. It is very illuminating. It is important to get the word out so that we can rid ourselves of these parasites, regardless of party affiliation. What I find particularly galling, and I have said this before, is that lowlifes of his ilk, are perfectly happy to almost destroy the economy of the entire nation, which they almost did, in order for them to save a lousy few thousand dollars on their personal mortgages. Not only are they thieves, they are petty thieves.Â
Vote them out in 2010.
