Al Charlatan doubles down on stupid.
In his ongoing eternal quest to stay in the headlines in order to continue shaking down business, as per his mentor Je$$e Jackson, Al Sharpton called for a postage stamp to honor Michael Jackson. While I agree that everything honorable that Wacko Jacko ever did would indeed fit on the back of a postage stamp, there is also the matter of a 5 year waiting period required by law. From ktla.com,
Reverend Al Sharpton is using his Sunday appearance at The First A.M.E. Church in South Los Angeles to call for a U.S. Postage stamp honoring Michael Jackson, as well as national day of mourning.
I wrote at length about the dead drug addict pedophile who had a hit record twenty five years ago, so the idea of a postage stamp is abhorrent to me. Nitwits like to point out that he was not found guilty of any charges. Neither was O.J. Simpson. Also, an innocent man would not have settled such “outrageous” claims against him with a $20M cash payment to his victim. On more than one occasion.
Michelle Malkin reports that world renowned imbecile Congress-critter Sheila Jackson Lee is sponsoring a wordy resolution to honor the deceased diddler. Glad to see that Congress has resolved all our other national problems and can now devote time to such necessary deeds. Idiots. Contact your congressman and tell them to stop wasting time and to stop sending the message that if you are rich you can get away with, in some cases, murder.
Fat Al also suggests that Tuesday be a day of mourning. Sponsored by NAMBLA, perhaps?
During Sunday’s sermon he called for nationwide “love vigils” for Michael Jackson on Tuesday, the same day a public memorial will be held at Staples Center.
That’s a nice idea. Maybe bring the kids. What could be more appropriate? I’m really looking forward to the day when we can buy an “Al Sharpton-Race Hustler” stamp. After the statutory 5 year waiting period, of course. Let’s hope it’s soon.
Over at Hot Air more legislative malfeasance, this time from California. I sometimes think the country is going quite mad.
